What do you do with my private information?

In general, we only collect the personal information that we absolutely need to provide our services. This includes information that you actively provide, like usernames and email addresses, as well as information that you passively provide, like the IP address that you use to connect to us. In most cases, we don't know our users' names, postal addresses, telephone numbers, etc.

Our Terms of Service include a section called "Our Responsibilities to You and to Your Privacy" that describes how we handle your private data. In particular, we never share your personally-identifiable information with any other party. Depending on which service you're using, media that you upload may be processed and stored by our object storage and Content Delivery Network providers. These providers do not receive any of your personal information and cannot correlate your uploads with your user account.

We also have a User Information Disclosure Policy, published on our corporate website, that governs the limited circumstances under which we can disclose any of your personal data.
