Can I hotlink uploaded images, or embed depot download links in my scripts?
While technically possible, these are very bad ideas because all files uploaded to depot are retained for a limited period of time, and at some point your links will suddenly stop working properly. Depot should not be used as a substitute for a proper persistent file store like Amazon S3, Akamai Object Storage, Wasabi, etc.
